All TIDE pieces are available in a selection of materials and finishes.

We only use the highest quality materials and finishes here at TIDE.

Please refer to the tables below for our standard options, or feel free to give us a call if you have any particular requirements.

Please be aware that there can be some variation in colour due to photography and monitor discrepancies. If you would like to have a timber sample or fabric cutting to assist in your selection, please get in touch and we will send these to you.

Here at Tide we love working with natural timbers and we’ve refined our standard timber selection to 4 species.

Each of these species fits the TIDE requirements, as follows:

+ Sourced from sustainably managed forests;
+ Of a high quality furniture grade quality – in terms of workability, longevity, stability and durability;
+ Beautiful in terms of character, colour and grain, and;
+ Must tie in with the TIDE aesthetic.

At TIDE we only use premium German brand natural timber oils and hardwax oils for finishing our furniture.

We have a clear option as well as 5 stains to choose from. All the finishes represented here are on American Oak.
