ORDERING
Deposit Payment
Production will commence upon receipt of a deposit payment of 50% of the invoice total.
Please check the quote details carefully prior to paying the deposit as this will be the final reference for production of your furniture.
Order Confirmation
To notify you of receipt of your deposit and entry to the production schedule, we will send you an Order Confirmation showing the deposit paid and the balance owing.
Payment Options
Payment of the deposit and final amount can be paid by EFT or secure credit card. A standard surcharge will be added to the total for credit card payments.
Samples and Colour Variation
Please note that like all natural products there will always be some colour and grain variation with the timber we use to make your furniture.
Whilst we are always mindful of the best way to utilise this resource, we consider some limited imperfections in the timber to enhance both the beauty and character of a piece.
Incorrect Choice/Change of Mind
Please choose carefully as TIDE does not offer a refund or exchange for incorrect choice or a change of mind.
PRODUCTION
Lead Time
The lead time varies from piece to piece, and throughout the year.
Generally we try to maintain a 10-12 week lead time for furniture items though.
The lead time for homewares and lighting is typically a bit shorter at 4-6 weeks.
Table Top Appearance
Whilst we are limited by the materials provided by our suppliers, there is some scope to choose boards where a certain aesthetic is required (residential projects only).
Please advise if you would prefer a cleaner aesthetic or a table with some feature/character.
TRANSPORT
Insurance
Freight costs do not include transit insurance cover for accidental damage.
However, TIDE furniture is covered for loss due to fire/theft/rollover/collision during transit.
Melbourne deliveries are handled by TIDE.
Regional Victoria and interstate deliveries are conducted by our trusted transport partners.
Each TIDE piece (regional/interstate) is carefully wrapped and packed for transport.
Delivery Scheduling
TIDE deliveries are conducted according to a pre-determined schedule in order for them to be cost effective.
Either TIDE or our transport partners will be in touch to advise a delivery window.
If you require delivery on a particular day and/or time, this can usually be arranged however there will be an additional cost for this service.
Assembly
Some assembly will be required for dining table and beds (regional and interstate customers).
This is straight-forward and instructions are provided.
However assembly and rubbish removal by the delivery company can be arranged. There will be an additional charge for this service.
For Melbourne metropolitan customers assembly and rubbish removal is included in the delivery fee.
WARRANTY
Residential Waranty
TIDE furniture is covered by a 5 year manufacturers warranty for residential applications.
The TIDE Warranty does not cover and specifically excludes faulty materials, fabrics, hardware and/or components that were procured from third party suppliers. However, TIDE will seek compensation or replacement by the manufacturer (supplier) of any faulty materials or hardware.
The TIDE Warranty does not cover products that have been damaged in transit, misused and/or exposed to extreme conditions (including prolonged exposure to sunlight).
Furniture exposed to excess wear and tear is not included in the warranty. Scratches, burns and/or breakage of glass, damage caused by inappropriate use of cleaning products are also not included.
Damage to third party property; any removal and/or installation expenses associated with any claim; and transport or freight expenses associated with any claim are not included.
Commercial Warranty
TIDE furniture is covered by a 3 year manufacturers warranty for commercial applications.
